Ashdown house has a natural tranquillity that creates a perfect environment for work or a break while visiting the city. The rooms and facilities are of a high quality with a personalised service provided by well trained staff that maintains privacy while supporting individual requirements. The pricing is competitive and I appreciated the upgrade given for my long stay.

It's been our second time at Ashdown and it won't be our last. Staff and atmosphere are friendly, a beautiful property with very nice rooms, especially the luxurious, African-styled bathrooms are my favourite. Ashdown serves a wonderful breakfast with a hug variety of fruits, teas, eggs, etc.

i cannot imagine a better B&B, room, food, staff and facilities, outstanding. My favourite in jhb now. A step away from the one man shows (which is good), plenty of staff, but still vey personal and warm. Loved everything about it. Real thought and care has gone into the small touches in the room.
