My wife and I stayed in this Motel in August of 2006. It was a magical experience. Admittedly the amenities were lacking but it was basic shelter and there is tremendous potential there. It is right amid the magical mythical Hopi reservation and the hospitality more than made up for any negatives!

Not only the stay in the stinky room was horrible. We had no other option then to go to the restaurant because we were totally out of food and exchausted. So we had a hot meal at the restaurant and guess what. Both me and my girfriend had to throw up all night. There was even a minute where we... More

The rooms are very old and not that clean. The loo were not working, neither the shower. The lady at the office was really unpleasant when i asked her for help. We were several people and almost all the rooms had problems. The food was not good at all. Could hear the cars and trucks near the room all nights.... More

We stayed in a trailer for one night as we had no other option....great experience :) the room was smelly and dirty and for 120 bugs for 3 persons not worth the price. We came at night so it looked like a perfect place from horror movies

We had to pay $95 for an old, dirty mobile home. No hot water, no shower but lousy dogs in the dusty heat. An arrogant lady gave us a smoker room and shrugged off our complain about the fact that we had no chance to shower in the morning. Never again an Anasazi Inn!!!

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Downsides were that it is pricey (it is very close to monument valley), ac is loud, and the water was out for my stay. Not many people search out for this place, but it gets the job done when you need a place to stay. Big upside is the cafe is open 24/7,... More

Kayenta town was full or outrageous, and this location, ten miles along AZ 160, was suggested, although not recommended! NO included breakfast, out in the middle of nowhere, far from ideal maintenance, etc. BUT...the Tsegi Canyon right behind the motel-like facility is SUPERB, hence the Poor and not the Terrible! Given the above, we skipped the adjacent cafe!

We used the Anastazi for several nights as a base when site seeing in the area. It was centrally located to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelley etc etc. All within 150 miles of the motel. The scenery around the motel itself far outweighed any minor issues with the motel itself. Such a beautiful, peaceful setting all around... More

This place was in need of repair. We had NO hot water and no water at all out of the tap in the bath tub. There AC did not work and the fan was so loud I thought it was going to explode. It was very expensive. On the up side, the restaurant was OK. People here were not friendly.

The Anasazi Inn is a roadside motel that looks fairly rundown, yet I found it adequate to stay for one night. The Navajo staff is friendly and helpful. The office area has a small café where one can find good food at reasonable prices. My bedroom is located in a kind of bunkhouse that had rows of private rooms on... More
