“First class hotel in an amazing small town”

We stayed recently with friends at the Tavern Hotel in Cottonwood and really enjoyed the hotel and the town. The hotel is an old grocery store that has been totally gutted and redone with large well decorated rooms in the heart of town. We spent a night in Cottonwood recently, wanted to do a little wine tasting and check out the area, nice little day trip from Phoenix. We stayed at the Tavern Hotel and loved it. Beautiful room (huge!), super comfortable bed (slept for ten hours then stayed tucked in and read for another hour), and the bathroom was amazing... best shower... More

The Tavern Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel within walking distance to restaurants and wine tastings in Old Town. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and spotless. There is no on-site staff.
