The gardens at this hotel are delightful and a particular feature. There is also a swimming pool and a trampoline. The room was spacious and comfortable with a door leading directly to the garden. Free wifi was an added bonus. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would stay here again.

Stayed one night. Room was clean, comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend it. Rather expensive considering other hotels I stayed in while travelling in New Zealand, which offered free wifi and just as comfortable.

large hotel catering for the horse racing. rooms were ok and clean. bar /restraunt was more geared for locals and betting but lovely and plentiful food. staff were very polite and helpful, which made up for the choice language from the locals. pool and fish pond could do with a claen aswell.

Located in a small town, it was worn and outdated...a little like the town. But it was very clean and had a helpful staff.
