The room was clean and comfortable with lots of amenities (refrigerator, cable tv etc). They do not have air conditioning so the rooms can get warm during the day. You can tell that this Lodge has been here a long time and we found it quaint and comfortable. We actually extended our stay because the staff was so friendly and accomodating! We really liked that when we asked for something our needs were met or exceeded each time. Lovely, on-of-a-kind veiw of the Kenai River. We will be back.

This motel has everything, right on the river, fish from the dock, fish cleaning, freezer, firepit, BBQ, walk to town and restaurants, friendly staff.
