Cape Fox Lodge is a pretty place in a beautiful setting, but suffers from some quality issues both in terms of facilities and staff. We spent two nights here in January, 2012. Although we almost didn't get there because the shuttle driver went to the airport ferry dock instead of the AK marine highway ferry dock, where we had called...

I have stayed, worked and ate at this Hotel and resturaunt for several years. I'm heartboken that the numshe coffee shop will be closing it's doors on the 20th. This coffee shop is the first thing customers see when they pull up to the front doors of the hotel. Hanna our barrista, Hands down, makes the best coffee in Ketchikan. It...

Cape Fox Lodge is really well positioned with access almost directly down onto Creek Street. Comfortable rooms, good restaurant and efficient staff.

We stayed four nights at the Cape Fox lodge, nesteled in the hills above Ketchikan, easy tram down to the "Creek Steet" historic district and easy walk into town, minutes from the Totem Heritage Center, a must see, and the Fish Hatchery. We followed the signs from the lodge, and walked over a bridge where the salmon were spawning in...

I took my family to lunch at the restaurant and needless to say I was very disappointed.
The lunch prices were unbelievably HIGH. The fresh veggies were dirty and the service was slow. If you plan on staying here I would suggest you find another place to eat. The Pioneer
Pantry a good place.

We flew to Ketchikan for a few days site seeing unlike most tourists who seem to come on or off the cruise boats. This hotel is located on a small hill above the town and is accessed by gondola or walking trail. It is ideally located being very short walk to town but being up a hill gets you away...

We rode the incline up and ate here during our vacation. My husband got the 2 piece fish and chips and I got the 4 piece one (shared with our son). The fish and chips were very good. The server surprised our son with a balloon with a face on it tied to a package of cookies. This was lunch...
