Ok, so for 350$ you can stay here for a week in May month and the winter months. Prices go way up in the summer. Those who like posh should not stay here. The room we got was clean but smelly, the carpet, clean but stained, the walls had holes, so don't stay here if you have money and willing... More

We had planned to camp in Homer on Memorial Day weekend, but the weather was very wet and cold. Luckily since it was early in the season, we were able to get a room here. It was one of the best night's sleep I had on our long road trip. It's not fancy but it was comfortable and a welcome... More

I travel for fun and stay in hotels about 100 nights per year. Some are not that great, but this is the only one I've written about; after all, problems can happen. At $150 the best "suite" in this hotel is smelly, moldy, feces splatter on toilet; all remain uncleaned and unvacumed for three days. Employees unconcerned, I brushed and... More

We needed a last minute hotel and didn't want to spend the typical Alaskan fortune on a one night stay. Well, we got what we paid for. It served its purpose; we had beds and showers. We also had an old, mildew-scented, boring room with a tiny console t.v. People still have those!?

When we travel we are looking for a clean comfortable place to store our luggage during the day, sleep, and shower. This hotel met our needs. We didn't have the noise issues, but we were in the back of the hotel and possibly there weren't others nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We decided to spend the night in Homer on the spur of the moment, so lodging was tough to come by. We had some trepidation due to the low rating on TA but decided to give this place a try. Well, it's definitely nothing to brag about. It's an older, dingy, odiferous Alaskan lodge. Nothing fancy in the room......older TV,... More

Not only was the room dingy and small but l'll second some of the other comments left about the noise level. Not only did we hear every conversation, sneeze and snore, but the traffic noise level was as if the truck running all night long where coming through our room. And if that wasn't enough the bar across the street... More

The Heritage Hotel is just another place to stay...nothing special. Ask for a room in the newer section...they may want to charge you more, but stand your ground. The rooms are comfrotable for the area. They aqre nothing special, but a clean bed to sleep in. Their rates are probably the best around for the accomodations. You can do better... More

My mom and I stayed here one night at the end of May 2010. We really enjoyed it. There was a diesel leak in my place in Seward, so we had to find a place to stay, on the cheap, as it was an unexpected expense to find a hotel room under the circumstances, in the summer season. My mom... More

Location is quite convenient being in the middle of town. Don't expect any views from your room. During our stay they offered one of the best prices compared to other hotels. Even though they use the term Lodge, it's a hotel. The rooms are not elaborate, but they were clean with a nice TV. Nice comfortable lobby. The receptionist made... More
