We stayed at this property for one night while passing through. This hotel seems to be frequented by people on fishing trips. While the bed in our room was very comfortable, the fishermen next door were a bit noisy. Due to the thin walls, I could hear everything they were saying. They slept for only 5 hours, so that's all... More

Our hosts George and Shirley made everyone feel at home in their paradise on the Kenai Peninsula. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. We did not have any problems sleeping from noise. The atmosphere is friendly for both those fishing and vacationers. The porch was a communal gathering spot for breakfast and the fire pit for after dinner relaxing... More

This B&B was small and not chic, but it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample though the breakfast dining area is small. We were glad there was no TV service there (less distractions). The owners were very friendly. The highlight was sitting around the large campfire in the evening and making smores and telling stories with the other guests... More

Stayed for 2 days. Room Clean. Bed Comfortable. Stayed on 3rd floor. Could hear an occasional semi run down the road during night. Breakfast was continental and served in the office area. Area is small. Have 2 bar type tables with area for total of 5 seating. No TV reception here. They do have dvd's or bring your own. Do... More

We had high expectations – due to the excellent reviews, so we were slightly disappointed. We stayed two nights. The room (with king size bed) was very small and crowded, the refrigerator was a small communal one on the veranda. Breakfast was standard (cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast, Jelly). However, the room was very clean, reasonably priced and Shirley and... More

My cousin booked a room here for my dad, my son and I on a recent trip to Alaska. He and my uncle stayed in an adjacent room. George and Shirley were friendly, engaging and accomodating. Who can ask for more from a host? The rooms were clean and adequately sized and appointed. The included breakfast was good with ample... More

George and Shirley were so accommodating, I would highly recommend spending some time in this tiny alaskan town! the hutch is so quaint and down home. We were given the cabin to spend one night as our plans changed on short notice, Shirley told us the things we should not miss seeing and gave great directions to them! Everyone in... More

It was around 9 pm and we were at the Russian River all day looking for bears. Based on a recommendation, we came here hoping for a room for the night. They had 2 left - and it was very clean, reasonably priced, and what a fantastic place! George, one of the owners, was very friendly. After we checked into... More

This is a wonderful place to just unwind and relax. George and Shirley are so friendly, making guests feel at home. They provide a very comfortable room with good amenities including wifi and private bath. Breakfast was continental style and very casual. Guests come and go and fix their own breakfast at their leisure. The front porch is a wonderful... More
