Our group stayed here for one day and night. Everyone enjoyed the pool and I liked my room just fine. I will say that it is possible to see into other people's shower while walking around outside, but we didn't have a problem with that. The A/C worked great and the shower was nice and hot. The pool up above... More

We loved Hotel Mimos! The hotel's grounds are gorgeous with two pools, a jacuzzi, and a pool side restaurant and bar! The wifi, A/C, and water pressure were excellent and the staff was friendly and knowledge. Our room was beautiful with a private balcony with a beautiful view of the hotel pool area. We watched monkeys in the trees not... More

I have just returned home from a two week vacation in Costa Rica.....10 of the best days spent at Mimos Hotel, in Manuel Antonio. I have been traveling to Costa Rica for over seventeen years, living there full time for a number of years, and then part time up until three years ago, at which time I gave up my... More

My family and I spent a week in Costa Rica. We enlisted the help of a Costa Rican Travel agency to help select hotels for us to stay. They did a great job except for this hotel. It is a bare bones hotel, dark and dank, with plumbing that needs improvement. The hotel is far from the beach, so one... More

My husband and I returned to Costa Rica for his birthday that was on May 2nd and we chose Manuel Antonio to have the party. Upon arrival I liked this hotel. We stayed two nights in the Master Suite, a large spacious room romantic, clean and a spectacular view. It was definitely the best birthday for my husband and nex... More

We had a great time at Hotel Mimos while in Manuel Antonio. The proximity from the hotel to Manuel Antonio Park was awesome and the owner and his wife were as nice as could be. We had quite a few chats with them, they were so friendly and interesting. The hotel itself was a no frills kind of place but... More

We stayed here at the middle point in our tour of CR. we stayed for 3 night, that was enough! We were put in room 22, overlooking the pools, nice views! The room, well, old very used bedspread, not matching the curtains, not matching the pillows, not what you expect of a hotel! There was a pane of glass missing,... More

This was the only hotel in Costa Rica where I wasn't made to feel welcome. Two young females took care of the front desk. Our room was letter "M", which we couldn't find. The other rooms are numbered. Many steps and links between the buildings. My friend went back down the stairs to ask again, and got laughed at. The... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights on our visit to the Manuel Antonio area. The staff were all very friendly, helped us arrange tours during our visit and provided us tips for exploring the area. We were able to catch the bus from/to Quepos and Manuel Antonio very easily from a stop just across the street or... More

this was the third hotel in our 10 Adventure Tour reserved through Costa Rican Trails. Clean rooms with big comfortable beds and air-conditioning. The huge lanai opened onto the street with views of toucans in the trees. Nice pool with bar area. Take a cab down the hill to Quepos to take in the sights....and smells....of an old friendly Costa... More
