This place is about 1km or so from the park entrance. Note that there is no sidewalk from time to time. Bus/taxi is the alternative. The villa is about 150m to the beach below, if you trespass through the ground of the other hotel below. It is a steep walk. There are a few restaurants up the hill that is... More

Pros - Amazing view of the ocean from a large patio - Clean room which was nicely decorated - not lavish but nice - Small kitchen - Swimming pool - Staff was very helpful and attentive - Felt very safe - Lots of wildlife - birds, monkeys all around - Excellent location - midway on the Manuel Antonio hill so... We arrived at the Villas De La Selva, rang the bell for some assistance and could not understand the person over the intercom. Two hotel employees finally came up to greet us, and they did not speak any English - so we could not communicate. We were off to a rocky start. We soon learned that you must take the... More

We have been lucky enough to find this hidden gem 3 years ago & have been back every year since. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Manuel Antonio. Irene was fantastic helping us out with fishing trips & day trips or anything else we needed. Beach at the end of the canopy tree line or a refreshing dip in the crystal... More

This 7 room hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the beautiful Pacific just south of Quepos. Rooms are well done and the view is spectacular! I think a bit pricey for the area but it's worth it. No breakfast but the rooms have small kitchenettes in them so it's easy to make do. Pool is large, deep and nicely done...beautiful tropical... More

We enjoyed every second of our stay in villas de la selva! The hotel consists of several beautiful cabins in different sizes. All of them have terraces with a magnificient view (the sunset is absolutely magic). Troups of spider monkeys come to visit you once our twice on your terrace if you feed them banana. The pool is nice and... More

We absolutely loved this place. Our wooden door opened on to a balcony with a view of what seemed like the entire Pacific Ocean. The room was spare but the beds were comfortable. The pool was great and we found the path down to the full length of Espadilla beach. Alfredo who is there for you every moment turned out... More

We stopped along the road to Manuel Antonio at this unassuming property to inquire about a room after finding out that the property we had reserved was inaccessible by two wheel drive vehicles ( which we were driving) . We looked at a room that was satisfactory and had a spectacular view of the ocean. We stayed for four days... More

I almost passed up this great place because of some questionable reviews I'd read but it was the highlight of our trip. If you're looking for a standard luxury hotel room, this isn't it. But if you enjoy a smaller place with a great feel for the outdoors, this is perfect. Rooms come with a large fridge, blender, toaster oven,... More
