“This was a highlight of a 3-week Central American vacation.”

There are few areas needing any improvement at all. Great guide, pleasant accommodations, everything taken care of, and an excellent value. Enjoyed fellow guests from several countries. Tortuguero is a treasure, and the Mawamba staff knows it well. Staff fluent in several languages, and familiar with the variety of birds and animals we could see up close.

Had a wonderful stay at Mawamba, I will try to give some helpful advice that others may not have covered. As in past reviews the ocean is not swimmable do to the riptides , but it is a lovely beach.
