The landscape, atmosphere and cabins are nice. They have a lots of birds and monkeys on the site with a nice separate common kitchen area. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable and the toilet didn't flush well but apart from that, the host are nice and it is cheap for what you get.

We cannot comment on the place fully as we did not stay here. Due to a rescheduled flight as a result of bad weather, we arrived a day late and had to cancel our stay here and continue on to Puerto Viejo. Pros: Alby lodge has some nice wooden cabins at the edge of the forest. Our cabin was clean and spacious, and came with a safety box and a ceiling fan. You wake up with the sounds of howler monkeys, it's situated in the middle of nature. Cons: they don't serve breakfast.
