My husband and I stayed here for two days for our honeymoon, and it was our favorite part of the trip. For those who like to have a bit of adventure, the rafting in/out of Pacuare provides a unique experience. The lodge itself is tranquil and gorgeous. The honeymoon suite is huge (I can't speak for the size of the... More

Rafting into the lodge started the stay with enough adventure to make our two teenagers love the stay. Evan, our guide was able to not only maximize the whitewater thrills but find Tucans and swimming holes on the way. We stayed in the garden view bungalows, charming rooms with netting draped king sized beds and attached bathroom huts. We splurged... More

This was an amazing stay. When I booked this I was focusing on hiking and adventure as I was traveling with a friend. It turned out to be a very romantic place; dining by the river, the canopy beds and candlelight. At first we felt a little funny but we quickly became used to feeling like two little princesses. Starting... More

You have a 2 hr raft in and 4 hour raft out. How do they build such a first class place with no roads. I would recommed the Riverview, worth the extra $$. and no hills to get to your room. wear flat shoes, no heals of any Kind. We did the Cabecar Indian Villiage. My husband, who is in... More

Upon being accompanied to our suite, my breath was taken away - the room was unbelievably romantic and gorgeous!!
