We liked the cabin. Very clean, with beautiful grounds. Breakfast was good. The stay was a bit expensive, but all the places around the volcano are expensive. Would provide a brilliant view of the volcano--if the weather cooperates. The restaurant at the hotel next door (towards LaFortuna) had good, reasonable food. The other two restaurants across the road within walking... More

We stayed here for two nights in January. The cabin was comfortable and clean, and the only place we stayed out of two weeks that had air conditioning and a tv. The front desk staff was very friendly and always willing to make calls to help us set up transport or tours. The location is a little tough if you... More

I highly recommend staying there. We were delighted by the place, the warm welcome, our bungalow was perfect, spacious, spotless, the view was incredible... all in all, we loved it and would definitely return if we're ever in the area again. More

My wife and stayed here during a recent trip to Costa Rica. Unfortunately for us the rainy season had not let up yet, so we did not see the volcano, but from our room we had a great view of the base of the volcano and had the rains let up, we would have had a spectacular view of the... More

For the money, this place is great. We were in one of the "Junior Suites" which is basically like having your own condo-style room. Beds were fine and the room was neat with the vaulted ceiling. Weather was poor when we were there, but I believe there should normally be a great view of the volcano. The location was very... More

We were only able to stay one night at Campo Verde, but it was awesome. The cabins are incredibly cute and have porches, some of which face the volcano. The cabins are well stocked and very clean and comfortable. The grounds are very well maintained, and breakfast was delicious. The family who owns it was very helpful. We spent time... More

We stayed three nights in a cozy bungalow with a superb view of the volcano on the one clear day. Elizabeth was so attentive to our comfort and enjoyment. She helped us change a horseback ride to a day with better weather. The breakfasts were delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Also there's good restaurant right across the road. More

We just spent part of a charming weekend in the Arenal Volcano area, and stayed at Hotel Campo Verde. Wish we could have stayed for a week. The bungalows are very nice with a great morning view of Arenal. They are adequately sized, fairly private individual units in a lovely setting with great landscaping. Low key and cute, at a... More

My fiancee and I went here for our Vacation in March 2010. It was quite amazing, the views the people there with the terrific breakfast. We had an entire cabin to ourselves and there were two Queen size beds. We also had a small fridge. Which we definitely took advantage of when we went to the supermarket in town. It... More
