Clean spacious hotel that is now closed for complete renovations until late July 2013. Make sure you get Chaminda as your tuk-tuk driver. He's very friendly, honest & helpful. Loads of monkeys around the hotel, has a nice pool & a great view of the rock.

Stayed only for 2 nights at start of tour. The hotel is quite traditional in style. The staff we encountered were all very helpful and pleasant. Fantastic location but that's about it. Our room was tired, staff disinterested except the smiley waiter who was great. Dark reception with no wifi except there was a pain. Would not hurry back but would try somewhere else!
