The hotel itself is very pleasant - an old colonial house converted into a hotel. The rooms are large and clean. However, the shower and wash basin taps trickle with water. We've just returned from a three night stay at Manor House and we feel like we've been away for weeks! The house is located about 10mins drive from the heart of Kandy town so unless you have a car, you will be have to take a local Tuk Tuk driver (they all know the house well). We picked it solely... I think The Manor House has to be the best small hotel that I have ever stayed in. The level of service and the attention to detail was outstanding.
