The bungalows are very, let's say... rustic. If you're not the adventurous type or have issues with cleanliness, this isn't the place for you. Individual wooden bungalows on stilts surrounded by banana trees and coconut palms make for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. “don't go for the fan room if you want comfort”

“best time in Mook Lanta”

We had amazing and peacefull time here and with beaty around and warm and helpfull people in resort it was definitely the best time in Thailland we had!To be falling asleep on a rice field with fresh bananas with frogs orchestra backround is something You have to try!

Small rooms (bungalows), only a fan no airconditioning, quite warm in the rooms, all beds have mosquito nets, but mine had some small gaps.., 1 minute walk from Long Beach, lots of restaurants, shops close by. Approx. 8km from the arrival pier. Service is good, they can arrange all kinds of reservations for you: travel, scooter rent, snorkel trips etc.... More

I was the only one staying at mook lanta during my four night stay in October 2012. I managed to get a low season deal on sawadee.com - 4 nights for 3 so it worked out at 375 baht a night for a fan room with breakfast. The rooms are small and basic with bed, mozzie net, fan and tv.... More
