Best hotel in town. Location is very central and you can walk to the boats 10 min. Do not change money at the cashier(reception) they dont have a good exchange rate. You do need time to check out, they check the room while you are doing the check out .. can take time. You need time to check out.

We have stayed here in the past. Nice room-good size Western bathroom. Clean-especially good for more rural China. Breakfast buffet excellent. Had Chinese lunch and a dinner--too greasy for most of us.

This hotel has a good location in Yangshao it's a few minutes away from the centre without the hustle and bustle. Agree with ask other reviews. This is at best 3 star hotel. Little English understood. Food not fresh and pretty disgusting. We were recommended a much better bed a band breakfast on edge of town with delicious food and charming service and spoke English called tea cosy.
