We booked 2 nights here as a last resort as all other hostels in the area were full, what a mistake. The place is filthy and the beds were crawling with bed bugs, my friend was bitten dozens of times and took pictures of the bed bugs, they were that big!! Bed bugs, lots of rules and lots of what you can't do, mean cook in the kitchen and never saw her smile at anyone, breakfast cost extra (but it is a good value), not super helpful at the front desk and witnessed them giving travelers a hard time over New Years. Gouged travelers over New Years too. Much better hostels... More

Safe place. Young people from other hostels gathering on the street in the evening. Very good kilo restaurant and acai next door.
