Very Clean hotel and central for Petropolis and only an 1 1/2 hours from Rio, Breakfast and staff are brilliant, the Taxi's reasonable, a fair amount of restaurants close by and public bars. worth a visit.

Very nice hotel. Newly renovated so it is essentially brand new. Front desk always has someone who speaks english on duty, which being an American who doesn't speak Portugese very helpful.
