We stayed here for 2 nights in nov 2012. It was horrible, we did stay at El misti in Buzios and it was wonderful and from there we booked El misti Ilha Grande expecting similar standards. Quiet spot, but still in town, minutes to everything, staff were quite good, breakfast was ok. not a huge choice in a small place, value is reasonable. Some nice walks to do and boat trips are good. The Caiparinas' get you in the mood in any case. Wish we had had a few more days to explore the island.
