Hotel is standard fare for Hilton Garden Inn, only made unpleasant by the desk staff. Poor attitude, failure to explain certain check in policies, etc, that led to confusion. When asked for clarification, the condescending attitude was less than appropriate or welcomed.

Lovely hotel. Large spacious rooms. Very friendly, efficient staff at check-in. One of our beds had a horrible mattress - sunken in the center. Very uncomfortable. Stayed here during our trip on Route 66 which was handy because it is almost opposite the Cadillac Ranch. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, large rooms and comfortable beds. Dinner and breakfast were fine and affordable. Easy parking. Would use again.

The Hilton Garden Inn on the far west side of Amarillo is a good choice for events on that side of town. Hotel lobby is lovely, check-in very efficient. Wished we had known the restaurant/bar was not open later on a Friday evening when we arrived after traveling all day. We had to drive around looking for a 24 hour burger joint. The rooms were clean, staff very friendly. Great bedding too.

Very nice property. Clean. Nice room size. Small bar in lobby. Pretty good rate of $80 w/AAA discount. Kinda tricky getting out as you have to use back alley. Street in front is one way wb. As with many Hilton gardens you are treated very well.
