I have stayed at the Blue Moon 10 times, almost since it first opened. There is a wonderful feeling returning to a place you know well. The innkeeper is always charming, helpful, and planning something to keep his clients happy. The place is not the fanciest place in town but it feels like visiting an old friend's house rather than... More

My husband and I stayed at the Blue Moon for the fifth time this past August. Once again we were impressed by the innkeeper's service and excellent meals, and the great atmosphere this place has. This time we stayed in the lovely "Sunrise" room that looks out on the patio, and as expected, it was impeccably clean and beautifully furnished,... More

On our 4th trip to Ashland we thought we’d try someplace new. The location looked great. Stayed for 5 nights in “The Cottage”. Two big problems made us sure that we will be staying elsewhere in the future. The first, and most important...the place just wasn’t clean enough. The microwave had a broken handle, and lots of surface dirt, the... More

I was at the the Blue Moon Bed and Breafast Inn during the week of June 14th for every performance of the Shakespeare Oregon Festival. It was a lovely experience to have been hosted by Blue Moon's owner and host, Dean Clark. The rooms were comfortable, exceptionally clean and cozy; while the food was exquisite and delicious! Dean had answers... More

How does anyone know which inn to stay in? We recently took a chance and stayed 2 nights, in the “Blue Moon Room“, at the Blue Moon B & B…It was very,,,,,well, BLUE! We’d been traveling for 2 weeks, so we were not able to make reservations ahead of time. This is not like us, as surprises can be a,... More

We rented out the entire B&B for a workshop recently. It was a wonderful experience all around. Clean and beautiful rooms, easy location to town plus great food. Dean and Ty (his adorable dog) were like instant family, taking care of each detail to make our few days there feel like being at home. More

I don't know the Ashland B&B market so i can't really say about value for money. The physical premise was nice and cosy, though not extraordinary (not like a four plus or five star hotel). What was extraordinary was the host. In my experience (and the experience of 5 others I was travelling with) he's a great cook, very personable,... More

The B&B is clean, spacious, very close to the center of town and exudes friendliness. The owner, Dean, is very friendly and accomodating. Late evening arrival? No problem. Recommendation for restaurant? No problem. Do you prefer Caffeinated coffee or Decaf? No problem. I'll be back when I return to Ashland. More

The minute we checked in, we felt right at home. Dean is an excellent and gracious host. We stayed there three nights and each morning were greeted with hot coffee, fresh orange juice, and the most amazing, wholesome breakfasts! We sat outside with the other guests, enjoyed each other's company while taking in the most beautiful gardens. The afternoon you're... More

This is our second stay at the Blue Moon. This time we were there 8 days due to some car trouble. We could've stayed longer just to enjoy Dean's hospitality! He creates such a welcoming, easy atmosphere that you don't want to leave. The breakfasts are incrediable. Different every day with fresh, organic ingredients. Everything is home made. In the...
