We stayed at the Palm in January and were very, very disappointed. While reviewers found their room charming and cozy, we found it small, cramped, without a closet or place to set aything down, poorly lit, poorly heated with uncomfortable pillows. Of course, you could get a more comfortable pillow for $2.00 extra per night.(!) The front office doesn't open... More

My husband and I spent a very relaxing anniversary in the Sunset Suite earlier this month. I chose this place because I had stayed here 25+ years ago when it was a dive charging $23 per night. I had noticed this place more recently while driving through Ashland to eat at the Thai Pepper or Kat Wok because it was... More

The owner of The Palm is unaccommodating and greedy. I cancelled my reservation almost two months in advance, and was told I had to pay an $18 cancellation fee. The worst thing was that they tried to tell me that this was a fee that the bank charged them, and I was lucky because the charge is usually $25 in... More

We have stayed at the Palm (Motel) several times on our way to/from California. The beds are the most comfortable we've ever experienced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free wifi is great. We love the location just a block from The Morning Glory restaurant, our favorite breakfast spot on the west coast. The rates during the off-season are... More

Clean rooms, no smoking anywhere, lawns right outside the room. Greeted by friendly staff who knew where nearby park that allowed dogs was and recommended a good place for breakfast within easy walking distance. We have stayed here before and liked it very much, but not when traveling with a little dog. Couldn't have been more pleased than to find... More

I love this hotel. It is completely remodeled and a place that I wouldn't mind living in. It felt like a really cool little house. Very cozy, great service, comfy bed, and the special touches made it just that...very special. I stayed in the king room with the fireplace and it was perfect. And the shower was amazing...perfect water pressure... More

Traveling alone fron central Oregon to San Jose, CA, I needed a place to stop for the night where I could rest and feel safe and even pamper myself after a stressful trip. I chose The Palm after driving up and down Siskiyou Blvd. several times because it was very pretty and inviting looking and not a typical "row" motel.... More

I have been staying at the Palm for years as a rest stop on the drive from Portland to San Francisco. We have never had a bad experience. Check in is easy and friendly, the rooms are cozy and the light is always on greeting us. We won't stay anywhere else in Ashland. The new pool is gorgeous too! More

The Palm has magical gardens, and even in the winter there is always a small vase of something fresh from outdoors. The place is "vintage" and this is important to me because it feels more like home, than a hotel will duplicate decor. I enjoy that it seems cozy, the minute i enter the parking lot. It's not a gigantic... More

We 'web-stumbled' upon The Palm for a recent long weekend to see the SOU Raider's last football game of the season. We fell in love with The Palm and we can't wait to return. It was convenient - we walked to the football game, Morning Glory breakfast spot (get in line by 8am) and the beautiful Southern Oregon University campus.... More
