I think men likes these kind of design . But the quantity of room is not good. I had imagined small luxuary hotel till I stayed, but I felt it is modern buisiness hotel for men. I don't recommend Americans who live California. Because my room was small ,dark, wet, smelling and not so clean. These are opposite of Westcoast... More

Dojima is very easy to get to, a 10 minute walk pretty well straight down one street from Osaka station. However you might want to consider staying in Minami-Horie as this was the really interesting district with cool bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. Anything less than a deluxe double room will really be too small. The deluxe is small but... More

This hotel is recommended in Monocle's Japan guide, so I had great expectations. But I was disappointment, the cool hotel that I expected was more with IKEA-like, cheap looking furniture. Bathrooms are cool though. convinient location. I Got a nice Breakfast in the room because the restaurant was occupied.

Dojima is not a bad option but nothing to dream about. Decently priced for Japanese standards, good location (a 5 minute walk from Osaka main station) good breakfast and clean room and common spaces. But... 1. the hotel aims at being a sort of design mecca, but apart from the photobooks exposed in shopwindows at the entrance, the decoration is... More

We'd seen mixed reviews on the hotel on tripadvisor, but a Japanese friend recommended it to us so we took the plunge for our anniversary trip . The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished and the common areas looked amazing, while the room we were given was beautifully fitted out, with doors opening onto a bathroom and an absolutely... The Hotel is perfectly located, right in the center of Osaka, just 10 min walking from the Central Station. The outside and the common areas are very clean, modern and well mantained. However the rooms are a little bit disappointing. We took a corner room (middle range one) and it was small, not very tidy and with old moquette on... More

We stayed at this hotel for the second time & it was nice but needs attention. Fashion hip type hotel with fun nice rooms. The entrance will confuse most. Don't go to the middle grand entrance, that goes to the restaurant. Enter on the left, go through the library, into the glass doors on the right, take the elevator to... More

It's hard to find real boutique hotels in Japan. Yes, I can agree with the other review that the rooms are small and that most of the staff don't speak English well. This is the case at ultra-luxurious establishments. This is the way it is in Japan - I guess I almost forgot since we've been here a while. We... More

We are not very interested in those so called "Boutique Hotel". Without the strong training program of an international hotel brand, we always wonder if we will be happy with the level of service even some of the places look super chic in magazines. We chose this hotel because we could not find a hotel we like in Osaka and... More

Sleek, uber-cool, chic, yet very relaxing hotel centrally located in Osaka. The rooms are great, the bathroom & bedroom can be opened up into one room, so whilst your better half relaxes in the bath you can lie out on the huge & very comfortable bed, idly flick through the channels on the large screen telly & chat about the...
