We had the western room and it was a very clean and nice room. The staff was very friendly and very very helpful. The hotel is a little difficult to find so make sure you print off very detailed maps to help you find it unless you take a taxi. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. More

The hotel is in a nice area of Osaka. Even though in a red light area,it is Japanese red light which is completly different and a lot safer than traditional red light areas. Arrived into Osaka station after 16 hours travelling from Australia (door to door). Wasn't amazingly easy to find but the locals were enthusiastically helpful - but not especially...helpful. Hotel Kinki is a great place to stay in Osaka, especially is you have just arrived in Japan or you are heading somewhere on the Shinkansen the next day, as it is right near Osaka station (JR line - great if you have a JR pass). It could be a little hard to find but the map on their website... More
