We had the western room and it was a very clean and nice room. The staff was very friendly and very very helpful. The hotel is a little difficult to find so make sure you print off very detailed maps to help you find it unless you take a taxi. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Stayed here for a few nights as part of a whirlwind trip to Japan in December 2011. The rooms are quite small (as they are in Japan). The hotel is in a nice area of Osaka. Even though in a red light area,it is Japanese red light which is completly different and a lot safer than traditional red light areas.
There were some amazing, authentic and simple restaurants literally a couple of doors away. You pick from a vending machine a picture of the food you want too...

The room size (Especially the toilet!) is quite small but adequate. It is located...

Once we got there it was absolutely fine. It's futon on tatami matt rooms which was a surprise but also very comfortable and we spent two nights.
Wireless in lobby and LAN...

Hotel Kinki is a great place to stay in Osaka, especially is you have just arrived in Japan or you are heading somewhere on the Shinkansen the next day, as it is right near Osaka station (JR line - great if you have a JR pass). It could be a little hard to find but the map on their website...

The hotel isn't easy to find at first - although there's a map, keep your eyes peeled for the sign or you'll miss it. We walked through the arcade that the entrance is located in (very close to one of the arcade entrances), got lost much further on and only realised it was right back where we started in the...
