Right off the river next to Arashiyama bridge. Didnt have chance to try the rooms as we were staying somewhere else, rather went for lunch on a sunny day Tofu is great - sashimi too although in small portion Relaxing for a lunch with a view when hanging around basically.

Everything is perfect except that they have not prepared any food for you to eat during midnite.... Dinner was early at 7:30pm and all shops nearby were closed and there was no wifi in room. Otherwise, this ryokan is perfect for a relax and refreshing trip!

The hot spring and the room are fine. However, the food was not worthy as the price we paid. And the worst part is the service.
