The only good point about this hostal (that is definitely not a hotel) is the location (next to kyoto station). Too expensive (60 eur per night, 2 pax) for what they offer, not very friendly, uncomfortable bed (japanese style, bed bugs included). I do not recommend to stay there and would not repeat ever.
