The hotel is located in a perfect spot of Kyoto next to the river. Easy access to all temples and tourist attractions. Excellent room product versus price. A lovely boulangerie is located in the same building than the hotel which really help for late breakfast. Truly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel! Very well decorated and clean. The location is great - next to gion and the center. The staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are very equiped and well designed. A bit expensive but worth any yen! The only bad thing is that the breakfast is expensive, so we ate outside (but there are many options nearby).

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during my 2nd trip to Kyoto on the floor especially for ladies. - The location is wonderful, so convenient, close to restaurants, shopping centres subways and bus stops. - hotel staffs were very helpful, great and comprehensive amenities(from make up remover to mask) I am staying at this hotel again this Nov.

This Kyoto hotel is very good and is in a convenient location. The rooms are small--as is the case in many Japanese inns--but comfortable and well-maintained. There's also an efficient, courteous staff and the general manager--an American man who has lived in Japan for some years--is particularly helpful.

The hotel is well situated and delightfully sophisticated and artistic. It is worth visiting if just for the bar decor and lobby sculptures.
