there are not many hotels near Pazhou. Those two others I think are quite expensive if you travel just on business. Don't let the hotel entrance fool you. The rooms are great. Walking distance to the fair grounds. Make sure you write the hotel name and address in Chinese if you expect a taxi to get you to the hotel.

If you are going to the Panzuo Guangzhou Fair Grounds this hotel offers rooms comparable to the Shangri-La at a fraction of the price. This could well be the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast (thankfully not a buffet) was hot and fresh. Nice coffee too!
