We stayed 5 nights in november 2011. We had a very big room facing the road (Small rooms facing back yard), the traffic noice was not an inconvenience at all. Nice bathroom with a bathtub. Nice hotel, nicely situated for all the sites, pleasant staff with excellent English. With no restaurant and the only TV channels in English solos/families would be advised to bring DVDs for evening entertainment.

The hotel is only 50 meters from Nevsky Prospect. We had a standard ouble room on the second floor (the reception floor), which gave on the street. First of all, ignore the scruffy state of the entrance hall (although the Bankomat came in handy). Go past the desk, and find the tiny, tiny lift on your right. Good location just off Nevsky Prospekt (5 minute walk from Metro). Major construction work taking place on the street the hotel is on so no direct car access.
