We stayed at Kempinski for 6 nights, service is outstanding, great breakfast , we mention that its my husband birthday and they made a special birthday cake and a card. Very centrally located, few min from Hermitage, Pushkin museum. Very comfortable room, spa and steam room great, free drinks, fruit. Over all experience is fantastic .

Despite a great location, and generally helpful rank-and-file staff (especially the Terrace Restaurant on the roof), the mid-management is sub-par, and if you have an issue, they'd argue and dispute your experience ad nauseum, vs. just agreeing with the customer taking care of it.
