We arrived in Vladivostok on the Trans-Siberian. We had organized to stay at a homestay but were informed that the homestay was unavailable. So we were dropped off here. It was a nice surprise. The rooms are clean and tidy. The room we had was a economy room. So it was quite small an had the weirdest bathroom we have... More

Admittedly It was not in the best condition. But the staff were exellent. They were all young friendly and making the best out of what they had. The attatched Strip Bar was the best I have ever seen! I didn't expect it to be the Hilton. The food was very good. Remember. This is Vladivostok, the real Russia. Not Beverly... More

One of our worst hotel experiences ever (although the restaurant was OK). Our group stayed here only because our Golden Eagle private train was delayed by six hours. The hotel was being renovated (long overdue). The 2nd floor had new windows, but everything else was falling apart. Our door had a 1" square hole above the handle. The toilet leaked... More

The Hotel Azimut Vladivostock is the worst hotel I've stayed in for a very long time, and the worst by far that I experienced during two weeks traveling across Russia from Moscow to Valdivostock. The only good things are the location, the appearance of the lobby, and the breakfast buffet food. The actual halls where the rooms are stink, the... More

We arrived on the Transiberian at 6ish in the early morning and headed to the hotel. It was pitch dark and the route that appeared to be the most straight one from the station on our LP map got us walking a not very well iluminated, totally deserted street. In Russia, it is easy to get close to a particular... More

I am in Vladivostok for business; I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The rooms are old, the beds are harder than a prison cell, and the TV’s are from the 1980’s. The pillow cases barely cover old dirty smelly pillows and are torn. The breakfast buffet is terrible and greasy, there is mold in the shower... More

Stayed in the hotel, the bathroom was so full of fungus in the shower, it was disgusting. The combined drain sink / shower was just a hole in the floor. The towel was not clean, brown spots. ( i doubt it was ear wax...) The carpet was stained all over, and felt sticky to walk on. No hot water. Renovation... More

The hotel itself was not glamorous in any stretch of the imagination. For Western standards,Motel 6 would been better. The outside of the hotel looked like a war zone from Soviet movies. But the staff was very kind and helpful. The guests are mostly communist chinese who scream when they talk and love to throw trash from the hotel windows and some Armenians... Very poor hotel. My room was 740. All the hotel is under renewal. So lots of concrete and dust all over!!! Windows must stay closed and a lot of people are passining out of there. There is no tub and the shower/sink water taps are connected. The drain is open and there is no air conditioner only a fan with... More
