Baguio is a hill station in the mould of Darjeeling. Cool climate, great scenery and good city market. Hotel has good beds, news and movie channels and rear rooms are quiet. A haven from the madness of Manila. Excellent bus station with transport links alĺ over Philippines.

The "Palace" is simply a fake 1 star hotel. The rooms are horrible and really smell. Whatever you do, don't get a room at the front of the hotel, the noise is terrible!
