We only stayed here one night and it is pretty basic. You get what you pay for. The room was clean and hot water was not a problem. They shut down WIFI at 9pm which we didn´t like so much. They also have a personal computer that you can use, but I believe it must be full of viruses as... More

Peaceful and charming house with a sunny patio and free use of ecological kitchen (Great - Keep the planet) in a characterful building in a prime location with flowerpots sit outside relatively peaceful rooms, with windows to let the sunshine. The rooms are basic and the shared bathrooms are pretty clean, the staff are fabulous and the breakfast is god.... More

We arrived at the hostel and were not given a warm welcome at all. We weren´t even sure if they still had our reservation. Then, two of the reasons we picked El Manzano were because we believed there would be wifi and a kitchen so we could cook our own meals. The wifi didnt work at all in our room... More

This isn't a bad hostel, per se. And, my experience in Puno wasn't a great one in general but that wasn't the hostels fault! However, when I arrived on the bus into Puno I was expecting an airport transfer do it was very disappointing that no one showed up for that (I've experienced this several times in South America). The... More

In a characterfull familiar building, this delightful guesthouse to the minutes from "Plaza de Armas"... For the price and the location, it can´t be beat. Flowerpots sit outside relatively peaceful rooms, wich have windows to let the sunshine . All have hot water and include the generous breakfast... Highly Recommended

We stayed here before going to Lake Titicaca. They have heating service to your room, we didn`t use it, but I think it is a good idea. It`s cost is just 10 soles per night. We leave our luggage with them with no charge. And then we came back and for just 5 soles we could have a great bath... More

We spent 2 nights here, on the way to and from the Island Tour. Clean rooms, but no hot water which was a pity since it was freezing when we were there. Location is great, walking distance from the bus stop and also the central part of town where there are restaurants. Internet is super super slow so have patience... More

We stayed in double rooms with shared bathrooms. There are two bathrooms on the ground floor and more on the floors above. The rooms were large and had wardrobes, bedside tables and a mirror. They also had large windows. They were quite clean as were the showers. I was particularly impressed with the the showers, they were solar powered and... More

Safe, clean, well-managed family hostel for budget-level travelers and backpackers. I'm a solo traveler and had a dorm room (3 to a room; one bunk and single) and shared bath because of no vacancy of private rooms (17/s); the other two travelers in the dorm room were backpackers from Spain and England, good and safe travelers. I stayed the remainder... More
