thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Dad Ibe Lodge. I just loved the location. Our guide, a native guna who was born in the islands, was outstanding.. The food during our time there was of excellent quality ( Homemade). Generally you will be placed in a group of 6-8 people and will go on two excursions a day one in the... More

where do I begin this part of our trip was just perfect, great and rustics accomodations, tasty food, and the activities were interesting. Our visit to the local community filled the cultural criteria. Is the perfect location for engaging in an Indigenous and relax experience in Panama , with boundless local community and ecological experience opportunities. I recommend the Dad... More

My husband, myself and our 4 daughters -aged 12, 14,16 and 20. We had a wonderful time on our 3 days summer trip to San Blas Islands at Dad Ibe lodge thru GUNA YALA EXPLORER. We stayed at the Dad Ibe Lodge close to Achutupu and Ailigandi Community. We were the only guests on this tiny island. The cabins were... More

Nine of us had our own private island surrounded by warm water and served by an attentive staff for two days and nights. Keep in-mind that this is an indigenous lodge, however, with private bath facilities with running water (most of the time). Osiris handed our reservations, including air, without a hitch. Juan and the staff greeted us eagerly at... More

We booked through Latindestinatinations.com for 2 nights at Dad Ibe Lodge. We arrived at the local 3 wall airport with nobody there to get us. There were a few Indians there, so we paid them to take us by boat to Dad Ibe. There was only 1 male Indian there. I think his name was Juan, but we renamed him... More

We stayed at Dad Ibe Lodge earlier this month for 5 days and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean, simple and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was decent. The hammocks in each unit were the best part! Our guide Juan was very knowledgeable and was flexible with the activities we were interested in.... More

Although we never actually made it to Kuna Yala, we had a very bad experience with Dad Ibe. We booked for two nights in August 2012. About a week and a half before we were to travel, the Lodge notified us that it would have to close due to damage to the property from the storm. They offered to refund... More

You come to Dad Ibe Lodge to experience nature and the local culture - and the staff certainly makes sure you do. Don't worry about air con, at night there is no electricity anyway, but the rooms are all well shaded by palm rooves and are quite cool at night.... Everything is included except drinks, but they are moderately priced... More
