Stayed a night at Croker Range Room. Great amenities provided in room. TV with Astro channels. If you are looking at staying in the nature for a night or two, Mesilau is the best to be. The natural surrounding has been well-preserved. The temperature is cooler than other places around Kundasang, fresh & clean air. Quite a wide range of... More

We stayed here for one night in December 2011 prior to hiking up the Mesilau route to Mt Kinabalu. We stayed in Crocker Lodge 2 room 2B. The "lodge" is very basic - around 3 star hotel quality. Tired furnishings. 3 bedrooms around a shared (tiny) living area. The living area has a fridge, TV, kettle but only one plug... More

Mesilau resort is 30 minutes driving time from Kundasang and though it is a bit of a drive in, it is well worth the drive. Set amidst the backdrop of mount kinabalu in beautiful forests, Mesilau resort is fine for those who do not have high expectations but are interested in a night in the cold and a family get... More

Went in February and we were quite cold. the facilities are rather dated and a bit of hike with the luggage. Price is way over the top. More

Bad knee enforced 3 nights at Mesilau whilst remainder of group tackled Mt Kinabalu. This place has had it. Badly run down and staffed by poory trained imported staff. Maybe employing some locals might engender some interest in their product. Food poor and cold....massive prices for beers. Such a shame because location is good with a really good guded walk... More

We stayed in a Crocker Range Room (RM 315). Very basic double room smelling quite mouldy and looking very tired. Had to walk 300m through the pouring rain at night to the restaurant to report no hot water coming through the showerhead. A guy came into our room with a spanner, removed the head to tweak something and screwed it... More

We stayed in Low's Peak Lodge, a 3 bedroom lodge. Since Mesilau is part of the Sutera Sanctuary Lodge (owners of Sutera Harbour Resort), one would have expected a better level of facilities and service for the price of RM830. We were shocked to discover that: - there was only 1 bathroom for a 3 bedroom lodge. Not only that,... More

Stayed in croaker range lodge for one nite-As a local, we feel very much cheated by the management. The room is musky, mouldy and smelly! Maintenance is almost zilt and not to mention the kind of price to pay-RM315 per nite! My years of travel experience tells me that such room is worth maximum RM130-150per nite excluding meals. Anyway, meals... More
