We booked a twin room which was very comfortable, clean and quite spacious. The location was good being very close to the station and an easy walk to the castle. The hotel is conveniently located just 450 metres from the JR station, and about 1km from the main attration, the Castle. We visited during the cherry blossum time and the castle grounds were open at night, with the trees lit up. Very busy with a lot of phographers (including me), trying to capture the atmosphere.

This is called as an excellent stay experience which i personnaly experienced during my stay at hotel Richmond at Matsumoto Japan. Firstly i enjoyed the kind of service they offer and the stay experience which is unimaginable. Only i cancall it as sooper experience which i wolud like to relish thru my life.

The best thing is the location close to the train station. Although on the small side, it worked, and was comfortable and clean. This is a business hotel with not too many tourists. Close to restaurants - we liked the town of Matsumoto. This place is our recommendation.

The room is wider than the normal business hotel room in Japan. Service is also very, very good and they try to accommodate guests as much as possible (had to ask for some cold tablets from the front desk and they gave me some). Over-all a very two weeks for me in Richmond. Thank you very much.

We are a party of five occupying 1 king bedroom and 3 single rooms. The rooms are sparkling clean and very spacious. The single room is bigger than many double rooms in Japan. This was a real surprise in that the room was very western and very roomy. We went for a deluxe queen, which gave us a queen bed which was not tucked in against a wall on one side, a very pleasant change, bedside tables on either side, and even a separate table and two chairs next to the window, good...
