This hotel has a big public bath on 9th floor that you can see takayama city. Room is big and bathroom is same as normal Japanese hotel (small). Breakfast is nice. Location is around 10 mins walking from train station. I went there before the festival so price is expensive. Overall, I like this one.

If you're looking for character, this is not the place. Clean, modern, but otherwise unremarkable. It is very convenient to the train and bus stations, but a walk to the centre of town. They do provide umbrellas for their guests to borrow, should you need one.
