We stayed at the GT for a week in early November. This was our third stay and as in the previous times, we liked it. We stayed in a three bedroom, two bathroom suite. The rooms had a good size with a nice view on the man-made lake and they were kept in good and clean shape by the staff....

I was booked in by my company, got a room which was overlooking the lagoon, Iliked the location for the hotel and the area which had easy access to DXB and the good thing was to spend evening at Al Qasba which was just next to the hotel, excellent and friendly staff with a very big smile.

This is not a good choice for a person on a long layover. i had a nice suite, very spacious. The sitting area is big with a kitchen corner with microwave and coffee and tea machine, but the couches are quite old and not very comfortable. the room is very spacious and the bed is huge, but difficult to control the AC, so either it's very hot or you freeze.

Good hotel,very comfortable room,good choice of food and a wide choice for buffet breakfast.The location is close to citycentre and Careefour is just 10 mins walk from the hotel.

Here are some points about it.
The pool is and will be under construction for 2 months. Which came as a great frustration as this is a city hotel and we wanted some waterfun for the kids.
Rooms facing the lagoon have a gorgeous view, lucky you are if you get one.
Taxi drivers are totally unaware of the name...
