We stayed for 7 nights at R Mar. Great location, 5 min walk to beach, easy walking to Junceylong Shopping Centre. A 1 minute walk to 2 great restuarants. The free breakfast was fantastic & staff very friendly. We chose free mini bar over Wi Fi. King side bed and a very good mattress. Would definitely stay here again.

Well worth the stay. The price compared to the resorts on the beach is unbeatable. The walk to the beach and Bangladesh road is nominal. Within 5 minutes you are in the middle of the muck. Was a nice place close enough to the main streets without too much noise, which for Phuket is quite important at night - if you DO want to SLEEP :) We also found no need for any transportation as everything was within walking distance.
