Did not enjoy the impala except for the food. It was recommended by our tour operator. After kili we changed to the mt meru. The rooms were hot and beds not comfortAble. We couldn't get any sleep. The lights were out on our floors so we went in the dark to our room. You'll survive.

There are two sections to the hotel-the older rooms are small with old, worn carpet, and don't have a clean feeling. The hallways are dark, and don't feel safe. The hotel is good and old. needs a little upgrading. Its very convenient for anyone using public means like the Impala Shuttle or Riverside Shuttles from Nairobi since they take you to the hotel. They have a small pool that you can enjoy! The honeymoon suite is good and spacious and i love the round bed! Good value for money.
