To stay here is like travel back to 70:s to eastern Europe. The hotel lacks on any kind of service. The food is awful - eating breakfast is only done by avoiding the uneatable leaving you eating bread and drinking awful coffee. The have an "Italian" restaurant which would make every Italian go crazy. Expensive is it too. The staff... More

All the things are managed and well maintained by the hotels. The looks of the Building is also attractive. Overall It was a great experience we... More

We stayed two nights in the Impala Hotel - one night before our safari and one after. Before our safari we stayed in a tiny, cramped room with a worn carpet and no airconditioning. The passage leading to the room was dark and not soundproof - you could hear guests using their bathrooms and toilets as you walked past. When... More

Did not enjoy the impala except for the food. It was recommended by our tour operator. After kili we changed to the mt meru. The rooms were hot and beds not comfortAble. We couldn't get any sleep. The lights were out on our floors so we went in the dark to our room. You'll survive.

There are two sections to the hotel-the older rooms are small with old, worn carpet, and don't have a clean feeling. The hallways are dark, and don't feel safe. The newer rooms are very much nicer, cleaner, and feel safer. I experienced both on a recent stay. The food was OK, and the breakfast buffet has lots of good, fresh,... More

It seems like a luxury hotel, but it is not. If you expect a basic lodging then probably you will be happy with it. Worn small rooms. See pictures. In the one room we got the lock was broken so we could not lock the door at night, did not sleep well because of this. Had dinner and breakfast included:... More

The hotel is good and old. needs a little upgrading. Its very convenient for anyone using public means like the Impala Shuttle or Riverside Shuttles from Nairobi since they take you to the hotel. They have a small pool that you can enjoy! The honeymoon suite is good and spacious and i love the round bed! Good value for money.

This hotel, a favorite of the northern safari circuit tour operators, is a very tired facility. There is no A/C so expect to have the windows open and enjoy the all night noise that comes with being on one of Arusha's busiest roads. The televisions are very old and only get one channel clearly. Carpets are old and stained. Plumbing... More
