Great location to start your Safari trip. Comfortable lodges and nice pool with relaxation area. Very good restaurant and service + free WiFi. Helpful staff will let you feel like home. Recommended also for families and friends.

We've spend Christmas in this lovely lodge, and have enjoyed every minute. Staff is extremely friendly, not only towards us, but also towards our children. The food was very nice and there were two great Christmas dinners. The family cottage is spacious and cosy. No problems with hot water, which is rare in Tanzania, especially in this price segment.

Meru View Lodge is located just outside Arusha National Park, so easy to do early game drives. Cabins are comfortable, tastefully decorated. Nice pool, excellent food, exceptionally personable and helpful staff. A pretty, relaxing place -- great for the beginning or end of a safari. Stayed here before and after our climb on Kilamanjaro, food was amazing in restaurant and they were great with my food alergies! The pool and grounds were welcoming after a week on the trail...wish we could of stayed longer to really enjoy! Safari from teh Lodge was so much fun, all the staff and drivers were great!! Definitly would recommend!!

The staff here was very friendly, food was good, rooms comfy and very clean. The setting is nice but the neighborhood stays noisy till late and dogs fighting all night kept us awake. Good internet access at the restaurant area was a plus for me.

We stayed at the Meru View Lodge during a pre-booked tour including safari and trekking. We enjoyed the nice atmosphere and the great food. The rooms are spacious, look good and are clean. The food was excellent and abundant. I can only recommend the restaurant where we warmed up in front of the fire in the chilly evening.
