I stayed for 4 nights. Three of which were a wedding of my best friend. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the gorgeous colonial buildings to the un faltering service this really was a special place. If you are looking for a quiet spot in galle away from it all you will find peace here.

We arrived at the Sun House after a pretty long journey , we stayed in the Cinnamon Suite, what a delight like stepping in time when the house was a colonial mansion. The staff, the food and the whole ambiance was wonderful, highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience something special

Beautiful decoration in colonial style. Peaceful hideout! Unfortunately the kitchen could not meet the hotel's standards at all. Be careful: we got approached twice by alleged cooks working in sun house, pretending to know us and offering their services. Up to you to trust them or not (certainly don't buy any suffran from them!)

It was a delight walking into our room after a long journey. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Bathroom had an open wall with an outdoor shower.
