The location at 25 Chapel Street is near lots of dining options and the downtown. If you're not averse to walking up a few hills, you can save the $6 cab fare, but walking back to the hotel from the downtown buildings is much more pleasant! “Great Hotel-Amazing Staff!”

From the moment I walked in the lobby, I was greeted with some of the beat hotel staff I had seen in years. I have stayed here several times. The staff is extremely accommodating. The breakfast is ok. Unfortunately, the restaurant attached to the hotel is not open on Monday nights. “Great location to Downtown Albany”

Saw a show at the Egg, which was minutes away. Dined at the Hotel restaurant, which had a very comprehensive menue, from hamburgers to full entrees. I would stay there agian , and recommend it to family and friends visiting from out of town.

“Very nice, but missing a pool at this location.”

Very clean and well maintained hotel. The lack of a pool on the location would be the only reason I might try a different hotel. You can us the pool at a local fitness center just down a block or two.The kids loved the breakfast and the ability to walk aroung the city. The valet parking was nice.

Centrally located in downtown area. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Breakfast was OK - its free right so I shouldnt complain. But....the scrambled eggs were a little rough, I don't think they were real eggs given the texture.
