We spent a weekend camping out at a music festival on the grounds of Kibbutz Ginosar - I decided to extend our stay in a different flavor of accomodation and booked for Saturday night at Shirat Hayam. I took advantage of a promotional offer which made the cost of this treat reasonable. We were greeted by Eliran with an iced... More

we were there and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room was spotlessly clean , very nicely decorated and we felt as if we were taking part in the history (the room) at the same time enjoyed the modern facilities. Breakfast was very rich , beyond our expectations and the crew - polite, attentive and warm. Who needs more?... More

We stayed in the hotel only for one night. Since we could not simply afford its lovely luxury rooms, and it was already late in the night, they offered us a small room to stay. I undrestand that normally this room is not offered to the clients, but we really appreciated it. It was the cheapest room, in the basement,... More

Spent all their money on the fabulous refurb, then decided not to spend any money training the pleasant but unskilled staff. Like staying in an upmarket youth hostel. And what is that about having to pay extra for the second cup of breakfast coffee? Who are the owners and what do they know about the hospitality business?

We stayed there as we wanted to have a basis from which to explore the Golan. As other reviewers stated, Tiberias is not really beautiful by itself and the beaches at the lake are not inviting either. The hotel works together with a Leonardo hotel closeby, however, its beach was closed at 10am in the morning - meaning the gate... More

We arrived just before Shabbat. I pre-arranged my booking two days before and was told that I was receiving two rooms, one for me and my husband and one for my three children. I was told that if I feel that the room was too small I should state that and they will give me a bigger room. I was... More

This hotel and the region of Tiberias were a huge disappointment. After staying 3 days in Tel-Aviv and 4 days in Jerusalem, my girlfriend and I went up to the north for a 2-day stay in Tiberias. We were told that the Sea of Galilee and the views of the lake were beautiful. However, Tiberias is a horrible city with... More

This is a really nice and newly renovated hotel. Well worth the money, especially if you are looking for something right on the water. We were expecting a room with a jacuzzi, but there was a wedding party that took all of them. So definitely confirm the room and make sure you have a view of the lake. The staff... More

first of all, the hotel's location is fantastic. next to the sea. There was me and my boyfriend two weeks ago, and just did not want to come back. It was fun every morning to see the view from the room, if it sunrise in the morning or the beautiful rainbow on a rainy day. The Service, the people, society, which... More
