A fascinating hostel like none other I have yet experienced. A 200 year - old Arab Christian home with Christian, Muslim, and Jewish staff and management. A friendly atmosphere and a highlight of our trip. A great Middle Eastern breakfast, comfortable beds (our party of 4 was in the mixed dorm), espresso, cappuccino, etc., available on the premises, a comfortable... More

I've never written a review before but feel I have to for the Fauzi Azar Inn as it was such a good place to stay. Travelling by myself I'd originally planned on only staying only two nights before walking the Jesus Trail. However due to some difficulty arranging accommodation I decided to stay at the Inn, returning by bus at... More

it also looks like a college yard with its dozens of people going around. It remains a very beautiful house. I stayed 1 night in a dormitory and left early in the morning, so I can't say much, except that staff is very friendly and helpfull.

This hostel is a beautiful place to stay in Nazareth. The dorm rooms are very nice and the shower and bathrooms are excellent. There is always lots of hot water. There is always fresh cake and fruit for you to take anytime and the staff are some of the most frindly hostel volunteers I have ever met. They we eager... More

very simple yet very inspiring - the place, the people who built and run it, as well as the small local community around it. we felt a little bit old for the place - reminded us our trip to the far east some 25 years ago, yet for young people and families with young kids - this is an amazing... This is truly a one-of-a-kind place to spend some time. My husband and I stayed two nights in a private room (with bathroom). It was clean, spacious and comfortably furnished. Our stay included an interesting, informative tour of Old City Nazareth-a good way to begin a visit to this area. Breakfast was delicious and included local dishes (I can't pronounce), fresh... More

We stayed two nights on the beginning of the Jesus Tour. A bit tricky to find (only accessible by foot), but once you find the first Fauzi Azur sign, it is straight forward to finding the rest. The colorful half size entrance door gives a hint of what awaits. There is a totally unique experience hidden behind the high walls... More

We stayed two nights at the Fauzi Azar in the old city of Nazareth. This is no generic bed factory that could be anywhere. This is a place with a story that is intertwined with Nazareth, its proud but also difficult past and the hopes for a future of coexistence. It is a home owned by an Arab family converted... More

We had a spacious upstairs room. Even the bathroom was spacious. The food was excellent. Fauzi Azar's granddaughter came to tell us the story of how the inn came to be, and about her grandparents' history with the house. I was spellbound. The behind-the-scenes tour of the Old City was a highlight. Don't miss it!

We stayed at the Fuazi Azar Inn in Nazareth over new year 2012/2013. It's located in an old authentic house in the old town. The rooms are really charming, clean and spacious and staff is helpful and friendly. They also serve traditional breakfast.
