Butterflies big as your hand flying around. the rooms were ok, maybe a little damp, but because we stayed in low season, we bargained a very reasonable price. I can imagine that it's a little overpriced in High season... Still, we loved it!

A great place to stay in Ubud. Very central to everything yet 5 minutes away from a walk in the rice fields. The staff are friendly and helpful, The grounds are lovely with flowers set on a river with river sounds, and a nice pool.

Simple but clean rooms ($30, including breakfast, in low season). Terrific view of rice paddy fields and mountains beyond. Basic breakfast with good coffee, served on the porch of our bungalow. Short walk into town or along the rice paddies to Sari Organik. Friendly staff.

I have been to Bali many, many times, and when I have gone to Ubud I use to like to stay at Gusti's. But in the past 6 or 7 years, Mr. Gusti has become more of a kermudgeon and the bungalows more musty, moldy, moist and dusty. I have not seen one new items over the past 10 years.... More
