If you travel to Agra, I recommand you to stay at this nice guest house. Good prices, very friendly staff, and the owner can book you a driver for the day. By the way, the guest house is not far from the 3 main touristic sites (Agra fort, Taj Mahal, baby Taj).

My sister and I spent a couple of nights at this comfortable homestay while visiting Agra. We were warmly welcomed by Monty, the owner, and well cared for by Billy, our cook and attendant. The food was well prepared and the dining area and rooftop terrace and garden were pleasant for eating and resting. You are separate from the family... More

We arrived Agra from Udaipur on 1st March 2013 and reached the Indian homestay at around 12 PM. We were welcomed by the property owner's family and soon they guided us to a room of our choice on the top floor. We had our lunch prepared by Vimlesh, who was a great help during our stay. We originally planned for... More

Not too special. Indeed you get a welcome by Col. Lamba. We stayed in the house accross the homestay. advantage was that it was quiet and we had the rooftop for ourselves. The house and the room although looked like the some old people lived there their whole lives and when they passed away they kept all their furniture. Location... More

we stayed during off-season, incredibly hot July. Location not suitable for explorations on foot. Rooms small, basic with basic bedding but clean and value for money. Okay if only to sleep. Breakfast: toast, jam, mangoes and cheap juice. Host arranged very informative guide for Taj Mahal and palace as well as transport at a very reasonable rate. All in all:... More

We stayed here in February 2010 while visiting India. Col. Lamba is a gentleman and nothing was too much trouble for him. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and all basic necessities are provided for, he also provided a car and a driver at a very resonable rate. Absolutely no complaints and highly recommended.

From the moment I arrived, Colonel and Mrs Lamba made me feel very welcome. They sat me down straight away and gave me tea in their sitting room, and told me about the holi festival of colour which was going on that day, warning me that I might be daubed with paint if I wandered about the streets...in the event... This property was very hard to find and we arrived too late for dinner. We were too tired to try to go back into the downtown area to eat. Our hosts kindly made us sandwiches for a snack.
