I stayed 3 weeks at this place. I enjoyed it very much. The room were big, clean and with a balcony. Annette and her husband cooked once for her guests. There is a big table in the garden which is perfect to bring all people together. It's possible to use the kitchen, they have a waterfilter, so that you don't... More

We arrived at bus stand in Varkala without any reservation. I had read about a ok hotel around "Tibetian market" on the north cliff, and soon a rickshaw driver offered to drive us there. After looking around 4-5 hotels, which wasn't really very good, we found this place (just walk inwards from Tibetian market, pass the Mango Villa, then turn... More

Our stay at saraswati was amazing! We stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the clean and spacious room and balcony. The hotel is really close to the beach and other necessities. Anette, Usuman and dog Joseph where pleasant hosts and made this place feel more like home than a hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

Amazing place! Clean and large rooms with balcony for a good price. The owners are super friendly and will help you with everything. 5 min walk to the beach and free Wifi. Thinks it's the best room we had in India.

Stayed in Varkala twice this year because of Usman, Kumar and Joseph. Never had such a warm welcome in India as at this hotel. It doesn't even feel like a hotel, it feels like home. Usman is the best host you can imagine. He likes to have a chat during chai, took us to the fish market and made us... More

We loved Saraswati, the rooms were spotless, what a joy to come across such a clean room in India! You have got to love the big dog Joseph, and both owners were charming and happy friendly people. Just sit on the porch, read, listen to the obnoxious crows and linger you're days away. I loved the fact that the hotel... More
